Author Gloria Waldron Hukle

A native and resident of New York State,  author Gloria Waldron Hukle is the author of five historical novels.

A student of history, Hukle's objective is to arouse an awakening in America's uniquely diverse culture through well researched historical data thereby spotlighting many of the first American immigrants, the early New York Dutch and their African servants.  Her narratives reach though the centuries giving voice to those forgotten early New Yorkers.   With a spellbinding blend of authentic fact and  creative fiction, little known, by-gone residents of Manhattan and beyond come to life.

Hukle's commitment to community and  historical preservation has taken her to schools, libraries, book clubs, and historical associations nationwide. The author lives with her husband in the Capital District Area. Find her books at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Warren County Historical Society book shoo and fine booksellers everywhere..
